Online Fast Track MBA Degrees
Advice and tips for fast-forwarding your degree via online programs, saving you considerable costs
Formerly referred as the "MBA-lite", similar to the 1 year European variety, many aspiring students are now turning towards online fast track MBA programs. These degree programs have proved successful and appeal to many students, keen to embark on their careers. The two main considerations turning more students towards this option are substantial savings in time and financial expense. However, savings in time and money are offset by the added intensity of these courses.
Although they cover the full range of advanced subjects as their two year versions, these MBA degree courses offer a minimal approach in comparison. Some of the subjects covered include accounting, management strategy, marketing, leadership and so on. Many students, especially those in highly competitive and fast moving financial sectors find the traditional two year MBA program too long; and tend to opt for the shortened 1 year version.
The flexible nature of online fast track MBA programs often appeals to older students with young families. Depending on students' level of work experience, colleges, business schools and universities offer a variety of programs, most of which are 12 month programs, although a few are 18 months long.
